By using One Profound Idea (the “Service”), you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.

Using the Service

One Profound Idea publishes one science lesson a day, plus a back-catalog of previous lessons. Some lessons are free to everyone; others require a signed-in account or an active subscription to view, as described on the app. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

Subscriptions & billing

Paid access is offered as a monthly subscription (₹149/month) or an annual subscription (₹1,000/year), billed through Razorpay. By subscribing, you authorize Razorpay to charge your chosen payment method automatically at the start of each billing cycle until you cancel. Prices are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise, and may change with notice for future billing cycles.

Acceptable use

Use the Service for your own personal learning. Don’t share your account credentials, attempt to circumvent access controls or payment, scrape or redistribute lesson content in bulk, or use the Service in any way that disrupts it for other users or breaks applicable law.

Content

Lesson content, text, and design are owned by One Profound Idea or licensed to us, and are provided for your personal, non-commercial use. We aim for accuracy and cite sources where relevant, but the Service is provided for general educational interest, not as professional or academic advice.

Disclaimer & limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don’t guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. To the maximum extent permitted by law, One Profound Idea is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms occasionally. If we make material changes, we’ll update the “Last updated” date above. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
